I love the simplicity of this recipe... It is easy.  It is adaptable... it is classic.  Best of all... It is good...  

PB Balls!

Melt in a sauce pan on low or in the microwave:
 
2 1/2 cups Smooth Peanut Butter
1/3 c of softened butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Add: 
2 c gf icing sugar
1/2 c Hemp Hearts

Stir until smooth and thickened...  add more or less sugar to get a thick paste consistency.  I find that every peanut butter seems to be a bit different.  I used NoName smooth...  

Let the mixture cool enough to handle the dough.  Scoop out what you consider a good sized ball...  I use a melon baller to help measure it out...  roll em and place them on parchment paper or waxed paper... foil will stick.

When they are all done.. into the freezer they go.  For about 30 min.

While they are cooling get together the stuff to make the chocolate!

8 oz of chocolate chips
3 tsp of butter

Melt this in 10 sec bursts in the microwave.  Stir gently each time...  After about 4 bursts, the chocolate and butter should be tempered enough to spoon and drizzle.  If it is still too stiff... one more 10 sec. burst should do it.

Take the balls out and generously drizzle the chocolate over them...  

Back to the freezer to set!

If you can wait any more time -- they should set up for another 10 min...  

Enjoy!  These will last in your fridge for about 1 week...  

Important to note:   They will melt in hot weather.  Keep em cold!  They are delicious frozen.
